Is Edits free to use?
Yes. The app is free to download and use, including 4K exports with no watermark, based on its current official app store listing.
Do I need an Instagram account?
You log in with your existing Instagram credentials. There is no separate EditsInsta or third-party account involved anywhere in the process.
Is there a desktop or PC version?
Not an official one at this time. The app is currently distributed only through Google Play and the App Store for phones. If that changes, we will update this page and link only to verified official sources.
Where do I actually download it?
Through the official Google Play Store on Android or the official App Store on iOS. Our download page links directly to both listings.
Does EditsInsta host the app file?
No. We never host or distribute the app ourselves. Every download button on this site sends you to the official app store listing.
Can I edit videos longer than a few minutes?
Individual clips can be recorded up to ten minutes long, and you can import longer footage from your camera roll to trim down on the timeline.
Will my drafts be saved if I switch phones?
Drafts are tied to your account, so signing in on another device should keep your project history available, per the app's own account sync behavior.
